SISTER SIN Singer Interviewed By METAL ASSAULT

July 20, 2010

On July 20, Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal of Metal Assault conducted an interview with vocalist Liv Jagrell of the Swedish female-fronted heavy rock band SISTER SIN. You can now listen to the chat below.

When asked about the video shoot for the new SISTER SIN song "Outrage", Liv said, "Well, that video was very hard to shoot because half of the video is upside down. We are hanging from the ceiling [and] playing, and I can tell you, I'll never do that again. That was hard work, hanging upside down and trying to play, and sing at the same time, and look good when you're hanging upside down! So that was (laughs) ... our bodies hurt [for] weeks after. I can't say that it was fun, but it was interesting."

Bassist Benton Wiberg recently SISTER SIN because he is unable to tour. His temporary replacement is Ricky from the BABYLON BOMBS.

SISTER SIN is currently seeking a permanent replacement for Wiberg. All applicants must:

* Have live and studio experiance
* Be between 22 and 32 years of age
* Live in Gothenburg, Sweden or be able to move
* Do backup vocals
* Be available to tour

Submissions can be sent to [email protected]
along with a photo, link to MySpace and preferably a link to a video clip.

SISTER SIN will join the "Black Label Berzerkus" tour — featuring headliners BLACK LABEL SOCIETY alongside CLUTCH, CHILDREN OF BODOM and 2CENTS — for several shows in September.

"True Sound Of The Underground", the sophomore album from SISTER SIN, sold around 500 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 97 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"True Sound Of The Underground" was released in North America on June 22 via Victory Records and will be issued in Europe on July 23 through Metal Heaven Records. It was produced by Henrik Edenhed (DEAD BY APRIL, ROBYN, LAMBRETTA, TEDDYBEARS, CHRISTIAN WALTZ, THE SOUNDS) in Stockholm at Studio 301 and Cosmos Studios.
