SKYLARK: In Recording Mode

Italian symphonic power metallers SKYLARK have issued the following update via their official web site:

"SKYLARK are in the middle of the recording session of the new 'Divine Gates Part 3: The Last Gate'. Bass and drums are recorded in Zenith Recording, keys and voice at Real Sound. And guitar, additional keys and mixing will be done in a famous foreign studio and a well-know producer will take care of it. Names of both studio and producer will be revealed before the end of the month!!

"SKYLARK strated a legal trial in front of Milan court against Scarlet Records, mainly because the label did not respect the deals they have together (amount of royalties, term of payment, promotional copies...) but also because Scarlet Records used bonus tracks without permission.

"Eddy [Antonini, keybardist/mainman] would also like to remind that his decision to give up from playing live concert won't change and the last Japanese tour is to be intended like his farwell from the stages."

SKYLARK last year issued a compilation, entitled "In the Heart of the Princess", through Scarlet Records. Conceived to celebrate the band's 10-year anniversary, this double "best of" included all the major SKYLARK hits chosen by Japanese fans after a web poll. There were also two brand-new songs, "Mt. Fuji" (edit version) and "Last Battle", plus three remakes, "Little Girl", "The Princess' Day" (this one fully revisited) and "Dream".
