SLAYER Drummer, ANTHRAX Guitarist Are Hoping For More 'Big Four' Dates

The Sonisphereweb site recently spoke to SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo and ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian to get their thoughts on the possibility of the "Big Four" tour — featuring METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX — playing other parts of the world following a recent short European run.

"I really hope the future of the 'Big Four' continues," Lombardo said. "I hope we do a worldwide tour and other planets even. We need to continue this because the fans they love it. There are METALLICA fans who were maybe scared to go to a SLAYER concert, but now they can see both of them and see that SLAYER isn't as scary as maybe most people might think."

Ian concurred: "We hear the rumor on the Internet that there will be more 'Big Four' shows and as far as rumors go it's one of the best ones I've heard lately."
