SLAYER, MASTODON, CHILDREN OF BODOM To Play Free Show In Salt Lake City Tomorrow

According to myspace.com/secretshows, SLAYER, MASTODON, CHILDREN OF BODOM and THINE EYES BLEED will be playing an all-ages free show tomorrow (Tuesday, July 25) at In The Venue (219 S. 660 W) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Phone # is (801) 359-3219. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. Entry is limited so get there early to ensure success.

Due on August 8, "Christ Illusion" is SLAYER's first new studio album since 2001, and the first recorded by the band's original line-up — Kerry King (guitar),Tom Araya (bass, vocals),Jeff Hanneman (guitars),Dave Lombardo (drums) — since 1990's "Seasons In The Abyss". "Christ Illusion" was produced by Josh Abraham and executive-produced by Rick Rubin.

SLAYER recently taped an appearance on the Independent Film Channel program "The Henry Rollins Show". According to the IFC show's web site, the episode featuring SLAYER will premiere on July 29.
