SLIPKNOT Percussionist Launches BIG ORANGE CLOWN RECORDS Web Site

SLIPKNOT percussionist M. Shawn Crahan has launched a web site for his Big Orange Clown imprint of Sanctuary Records at this location.

The first release through Big Orange Clown was "The Imbuing", the debut CD from upstate New York's GIZMACHI, which came out in early May. "The Imbuing" was produced by Crahan, engineered by Josh Wilbur and recorded at Spin Studios in New York City. GIZMACHI is comprised of Sean Kane on vocals, Jay Hannon and Mike Laurino on guitars, Kris Gilmore on bass and Jimmie Hatcher on drums.

The band filmed the video for their first single, "The Answer", in February in New York. The video was directed by Crahan and produced by Doug Spangenberg (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LAMB OF GOD, EVERY TIME I DIE).

GIZMACHI have secured a slot on the second stage at this year's Ozzfest, which kicked off July 15 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
