SLIPKNOT's 1999 Debut Certified Double-Platinum

SLIPKNOT's 1999 debut, entitled simply "Slipknot", has been certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments in excess of two million copies in the United States alone. Meanwhile, the group's latest CD, "Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses", has been certified platinum after officially passing the one-million mark last month.

SLIPKNOT kicked off their "The Subliminal Verses Tour" with LAMB OF GOD and SHADOWS FALL on Friday (March 4) in Hartford, Connecticut.
