SOIL Part Ways With Singer, Seek Replacement
September 17, 2004Chicago's SOIL have parted ways with vocalist Ryan McCombs, BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal. An official press release announcing McCombs' departure will be made available later today.
SOIL, who recently split with J Records, will commence the auditioning process for a new singer soon. The band have started writing material for the follow-up to this year's "Redefine", tentatively due sometime next year.
SOIL's J Records debut, "Scars" (2001),has sold 224,973 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Its follow-up, "Redefine", has shifted 72,499 units to date.
