SOIL To Release First-Ever DVD
January 18, 2012Chicago heavy rockers SOIL have confirmed the beginning of a series of U.S. dates to follow up their hugely successful sold-out 2011 U.K. tour. The band's current lineup consists of founding members Ryan McCombs (vocals; ex-DROWNING POOL),Tim King (bass) and Adam Zadel (guitar) alongside former STAIND drummer Jon Wysocki.
"We had such a good time on the U.K. run that we wanted to keep the party going with some regional dates in our area," states Zadel. "These will be some up close and personal shows to give everyone a taste of what's to come."
In other news, SOIL will release its first-ever DVD, entitled "Re-LIVE-Ing The Scars", on April 10 via Bieler Bros. Records. The two-disc set, which was recorded live on October 14, 2011 at Electric Ballroom in London, England, features the band's current lineup and will also include a live CD version and over one hour of backstage and behind-the-scenes bonus footage.

The 10th-anniversary edition of SOIL's breakthrough album "Scars" — featuring the hits "Halo" and "Unreal" — was made available digitally on October 10 through Sony Music. The release features the rare B-side "Center" and the previously unreleased track "Damaged You" from the "Scars" recording sessions.
