SOUL EMBRACED Schedules Arkansas In-Store

SOUL EMBRACED, the Little Rock, Arkansas-based band featuring ex-EVANESCENCE drummer William "Rocky" Gray, will take part in a signing session for their new album, "Dead Alive",, on Tuesday, April 29 at Hastings Books & Music in Jacksonville, Arkansas from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SOUL EMBRACED's first studio album since 2003, "Dead Alive", is scheduled for release on April 29 through Solid State Records. The CD was produced by Barry Poynter (LIVING SACRIFICE, ZAO) and was mixed by HATE ETERNAL/former MORBID ANGEL guitarist Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD).

The return of SOUL EMBRACED has been a long time coming. Rocky Gray is now back behind the lead guitar, having spent the last few years recording and touring with EVANESCENCE. Gray has reunited with his close friend Chad Moore, whose vocals recall the best of CARCASS and AT THE GATES. Lance Garvin (who played with Gray in the legendary LIVING SACRIFICE) is back behind the kit. The band's founding members, who formed the band in 1997 after the dissolution of SHREDDED CORPSE, are joined by new bass player Jeff Bowie and new guitarist Devin Castle.

The band released an EP (1999's "The Fleshless" EP),and three albums (2000's "For The Incomplete", 2002's "This Is My Blood", and 2003's "Immune") over a five-year span. SOUL EMBRACED's debut album, "For the Incomplete", was re-released in 2003 by the independent label Blood and Ink Records.
