SPACEBRAIN Leaves SKITLIV To Concentrate On Own Project

April 3, 2009

Sculptor René M. Hamel, better known as Spacebrain, and famous for his startling stage designs for bands like MAYHEM, has decided to leave his role as bass player with ex-MAYHEM singer Maniac's SKITLIV, in order to concentrate on his own industrial band SUCHTHAUS. According to Spacebrain, SUCHTHAUS, has grown to be a true devil's playground for him and it was becoming increasingly difficult give both bands the attention they required.

Aside from Spacebrain on his self-styled holy bass, SUCHTHAUS' lineup comprises Die Stimmen on vocals, Sick Barrett on guitars and DJ Flashback on synth and sounds. Material is currently being written, but two tracks, and more information about the band can be found on SUCHTHAUS' MySpace page.
