SPARK IS A DIAMOND: New Music Posted Online

March 25, 2008

Two new SPARK IS A DIAMOND tracks have been posted on the band's official MySpace page. Listen to "Try This On For Size", which features guest vocals from VCR frontman Chad Middleton, and "Check Your Lease, You're In F**k City".

The songs come off the Philadelphia band's full-length debut, "Try This On For Size", due on May 6 via Pluto Records. The CD was recorded in Baltimore, MD with Paul Leavitt (CIRCA SURVIVE, THE BLED) and was mixed by Matt Bayles (THE BLOOD BROTHERS, MASTODON).

Formed in the summer of 2006, the band mixes punk and hardcore, heavy dance beats, and alternating female/male vocals, resulting in a style somewhere between REFUSED and DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979.

Featuring vocalist Alison Bellavance, guitarist/vocalist Matt Boylan, and drummer Joe Crawford, the trio has previously released an EP with Emerald Moon Records.
