SPEED\KILL/HATE Parts Ways With ESCAPI MUSIC; New Music Posted Online

November 25, 2007

Old-school thrashers SPEED\KILL/HATE, featuring OVERKILL guitarist Dave Linsk, have issued the following update:

"SPEED\KILL/HATE have decided to part ways with Escapi Music. SPEED\KILL/HATE have been waiting on Escapi for many months now to release the new record. Due to uncertainess of Escapi and the long waiting that has held SPEED\KILL/HATE from moving forward, SPEED\KILL/HATE have terminated their contract with Escapi Music. SPEED\KILL/HATE are now in talks with several other labels and we should see a release soon after the negociations are completed."

Rough sound clips of the new SPEED\KILL/HATE record, tentatively titled "No Remorse, No Regrets", are available at this location.

SPEED\KILL/HATE's current lineup:

Bob Barnak: Vocals
Dave Linsk: Guitar
Tony Ochoa: Drums
Dave Bizzigotti: Bass

Bassist Dave Bizzigotti replaced Derek Tailer (also in OVERKILL) in September after Tailer was dismissed from the group due to "questionable availability and uncertain commitment," according to a posting on the band's web site.

SPEED\KILL/HATE's debut album, "Acts of Insanity", was originally released in Europe in February 2005 via Listenable Records.

A Fuse TV interview with SPEED\KILL/HATE conducted by Juliya at the 2003 New England Metal and Hardcore Festival can be viewed below.
