September 17, 2011

On Monday, September 12, Crash and LT of the Orlando, Florida radio station 101.1 WJRR conducted an interview with guitarist Mike Mushok of Massachusetts rockers STAIND. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

The new self-titled seventh album from STAIND is likely to sell between 40,000 and 45,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to industry web site Hits Daily Double. The estimate was based on one-day sales reports compiled after the record arrived in stores on September 13 via Atlantic Records.

STAIND's previous CD, "The Illusion Of Progress", opened with 92,000 units to debut at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart.

STAIND topped the chart with 2001's "Break The Cycle", 2003's "14 Shades Of Grey", and 2005's "Chapter V".

Produced by Johnny K known for his work with 3 DOORS DOWN, DISTURBED, and SEVENDUST, not to mention his Grammy Award-nominated collaboration with STAIND, 2008's "The Illusion Of Progress" and mixed by the legendary Chris Lord-Alge, "Staind" stands as STAIND's most intense and powerful work to date.
