STATIC-X: Video Footage Of GRASPOP METAL MEETING Performance Available

July 20, 2007

Professionally filmed video footage of STATIC-X's performance at this year's Graspop Metal Meeting, which took place June 22-24 in Dessel, Belgium, has been posted at YouTube.

STATIC-X was forced to cancel the remaining dates on its European tour last month due to transportation issues.

STATIC-X's new video for the song "Destroyer" is available for viewing online at YouTube. The track comes off STATIC-X's new album, "Cannibal", which has sold 105,000 copies in the United States since its early April release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD shifted more than 30,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release to land at No. 36 on The Billboard 200 chart. This represents a slight drop from the 35,000 tally registered by the band's "Start a War" album, which came out in June 2005 and debuted at No. 29.
