STRYPER Frontman Issues 'Prayer Request' For His Wife

February 14, 2007

STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet has issued a "prayer request" for his family in connection with his wife's upcoming surgery. His message reads as follows:

"Kyle [Michael's wife] was admitted to Brigham and Women's Hospital [in Boston, Massachusetts] on Monday, Feb. 12. After ultrasound and CT scan information, they have found a mass around/on her right ovary and fluid surrounding it. The Lord opened the door at Brigham and Women's and also appointed the perfect team to care for Kyle. It was a miracle how it unfolded and worked out. We're so grateful for what God has done and she is in the best hands and under the best care possible.

"She is undergoing surgery around 3:00 p.m. Feb. 14 (Wednesday) and they will be removing the mass, the fluid and anything else that they may need to remove. We're asking for everyone to pray for healing and strength to get through this time. We've come to realize how precious life is and how precious love is.

"I love Kyle so very much and I want to thank all of you for praying for the love of my life. It means so, so much to our family.

"We love you and will keep everyone informed as we know more."
