SUCH A SURGE Sign With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS

August 17, 2004

Germany's leading crossover act SUCH A SURGE have inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records. "We have the impression that Nuclear Blast understands our philosophy best and we feel like joining a great family," the band said in a statement. "And as we all know — you feel the most comfortable at home. As our new record will be harder than all our albums before, this new constellation fits perfectly."

SUCH A SURGE, who were previously signed to the Sony label, are currently in the studio recording their new album, "6", for a March 2005 release. A single will precede the album in January. Demo versions of three cuts slated to appear on the new CD can be heard online at the group's official web site. A headlining tour will follow in the spring.
