SUFFOCATION Reportedly Signs With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS

August 27, 2008

New York death metal legends SUFFOCATION have reportedly inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records for the release of their new album, entitled "Blood Oath" (see card/advert announcing the signing below). An early 2009 release is expected.

Norway's Eternal Terror webzine conducted an interview with SUFFOCATION vocalist Frank Mullen at this year's Neurotic Deathfest, which was held May 30-31 at 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The six-and-a-half-minute clip, which features footage of the band's performance at the festival, can be viewed below.

Roadrunner Records in January released a "best-of" collection from SUFFOCATION, appropriately titled "The Best of Suffocation".
