SUN GODS IN EXILE Working On Debut CD

SUN GODS IN EXILE, a new "heavy Southern rawk" band featuring members of Boston's CORTEZ and Maine's doom giants OCEAN, is about to enter the studio to begin work on its debut CD. The effort will be tracked at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, Massachusetts with engineer Benny Groto, who has previously worked with ROADSAW, DIXIE WITCH, SOLACE and IRONWEED. According to a press release, "this will be a nine- or ten-song debut record with scorching heavy classic rock originals for fans of LYNYRD SKYNYRD, DIXIE WITCH, early ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BROUGHT LOW." An early spring release is expected.
