May 31, 2005

Swedish pop/rock singer SOFIA has recorded a cover of SKID ROW's "Wasted Time" for inclusion on her upcoming debut album, "Lifetraveller", due in early July via BTM Records. "I always had a soft spot for that song, so we did it more or less for fun, but it turned out so well that I wanted it to be on the album," the 23-year-old singer said in a press release.

SOFIA worked with an impressive list of producers and songwriters on her debut CD, including Butch Walker (AVRIL LAVIGNE, SIMPLE PLAN, THE DONNAS) and Clif Magness (MICHELLE BRANCH, FAITH HILL, LISA MARIE PRESLEY). The first single, "My Bad" (audio),landed on the Swedish sales chart in its first week of release and has received heavy rotation on radio stations all over Sweden.
