Switzerland's EXCRUCIATION To Release New Album In January
August 29, 2006Reunited old-school Swiss thrashers EXCRUCIATION will release a new full-length album, entitled "Angels to Some, Demons to Others", on January 12, 2007. The disc will be issued via Non Stop Music and will be made available as a digipack, a limited-edition digipack with a 5"-vinyl-EP and as a jewelcase. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Devotion", "One Step Further", "I Am", "Smashed", "My Darkest Hour", "Golgotha" and "Solitude Pt. II".
EXCRUCIATION's 2005 EP, entitled "Arise", is currently being distributed in the Americas by OSM Records.
"Arise" was recorded at Blu Velvet Studio in Modena, Italy with engineer Alberto Solieri, who has previously worked with the biggest names in Italian music industry, like NEK, ANDREA BOCELLI, ZUCCHERO and LAURA PAUSINI. The group laid down two new tracks ("Arise" and "Kissing Your Life Goodbye") and re-recorded a classic song ("My Addiction") for release as a three-track picture disc limited to 500 copies and as a limited-edition CD in a six-page folder (limited to 66 copies).
