TENEBRE Part Ways With Singer
March 25, 2004Sweden's TENEBRE have parted ways with vocalist Victor Fradera. Or so it would appear.
"As of today, Victor sings no more in TENEBRE," the band write in a March 24 post on their web site. "After becoming a born-again Christian, Victor has decided not to spread the gospel of Darkness but instead singing in a church choir. Besides this tragedy, it is also reported that he's a HIF (a shitty soccer team) supporter. Shame...."
TENEBRE were due to enter Cherryfields Studio at the end of 2003 with producer Mikael Körner (FUNHOUSE) to begin recording their fifth album, due later in the year through Regain Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD were "Shine", "Black Void Nirvana", "Silverflame" and "Blue".
TENEBRE, who recently replaced keyboardist Julius with Ivana, released their last album, "Electric Hellfire Kiss", in 2002.
