TESLA Guitarist DAVE RUDE Schedules Midwest Tour Dates

March 4, 2010

TESLA guitarist Dave Rude will be touring the American Midwest with his solo trio in the middle of March.

"We're hella stoked to finally be getting out to the Midwest," Dave says. "People have been hitting us up online for literally years asking us to come play out there.

"Through all the touring I've done with TESLA over the past four years I've gotten to see first-hand the devotion to rock 'n' roll that is alive and well in the Midwest, more so than on the coasts.

"We are really looking forward to bringing our songs to the people and hangin' with everyone in person that we've only talked to on MySpace and Facebook."

The tour dates are as follows:

March 19 - The Dawghouse - Clinton Township, MI
March 20 - Simon's - Allen Park, MI
March 23 - The Corner Bar - Kalamazoo, MI
March 25 - Slapsy Maxie's - Columbus, OH
March 26 - Shaker - Cambridge, OH
March 27 - Penny Road Pub - Barrington, IL

The band will be doing autograph signings and acoustic performances at the following local record stores on the tour:

March 19 - Record Time - 27360 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, MI (4-5 p.m.)
March 25 - Magnolia Thunderpussy - 1155 North High St, Columbus, OH (7-8 p.m.)

"Fallin' Down", the latest video from DAVE RUDE BAND, can be viewed below. Bison Filmmakers shot and produced the clip, which was directed by Nate Wanzek (STEEL PANTHER).

Rude previously stated about the band's latest EP, "Carry Me Home": "Our new stuff sounds like SHINEDOWN doing shots with BUCKCHERRY at a KINGS OF LEON after-party. We're really stoked to finally have a CD that represents where we're at musically."
