TESTAMENT Part Ways With Longtime Manager

June 9, 2006

Veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT have parted ways with their longtime manager, Phil Arnold of the Thrill Entertainment Group.

In a statement announcing his split with the band, Arnold said, "It has been a great nine-plus-year relationship, but it has come to a point where it is not as effective as it once was for the band or myself. And we each wish one another nothing but the best on all levels. So, we part company as business associates at this point with regard to the business of TESTAMENT, and still remain on good, friendly terms personally.

"TESTAMENT is the definition of a bullet-proof band of stellar distinction. I have seen them go through so many challanges and still remain standing that it dwarfs the imagination. They are more than worthy of their reputation as a true, stallwart trend-setter of metal. I am sure that they will continue to deliver great music and great shows."

TESTAMENT have lined up several concert dates this summer while continuing work on the long-awaited follow-up to 1999's "The Gathering".
