The Birth Of METALLICA Discussed In 'Shockwaves' Videocast

Episode 2 of the Shockwaves videocast is a three-part interview with heavy metal stalwarts John Kornarens and Jon Sutherland. During the chat, the two discuss the birth of Metal Blade Records and the conception of the original "Metal Massacre" compilation album which was instrumental in kick-starting METALLICA's career. They also talk about how Jason Newsted came to join METALLICA and Sutherland's involvement in the process. Kornarens also shares some great stories about the early years of METALLICA's Lars Ulrich.
