THE HAUNTED Frontman Has A Message For BLABBERMOUTH.NET 'Trolls': 'I Love You'

April 20, 2009

Peter Dolving, frontman of the Swedish metal band THE HAUNTED, was interviewed on this past Friday's (April 17) edition of the "All Knowing Force" web-based interview show.

When asked if he had a message for the BLABBERMOUTH.NET detractors, Dolving replied, "[Sarcastically] I love you. I love you, little trolls. Come to my house."

He added, "It's a mental kind of schoolyard abuse. You have to take out your aggression and your pain somewhere, and if you don't have a really, really skilled therapist, it's a way to kind of lay it out on the Internet and pray that no one actually goes after you [laughs]."

"All Knowing Force"'s entire 29-minute interview with Peter Dolving is available for download as an MP3 audio file at this location (12 MB).

The band's latest album, "Versus", sold around 1,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Versus" entered the Swedish chart at position No. 14 and the Finnish chart at No. 12.

The CD was recorded in part at PUK studio in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (HEAVEN SHALL BURN, DARK TRANQUILLITY, MOONSPELL, etc),who previously worked with the group on its two most recent LPs, "rEVOLVEr" (2004) and "The Dead Eye" (2006).
