THE LAW Signs With METALCENTRAL RECORDS

September 21, 2007

THE LAW, the Swedish thrash metal band featuring VOMITORY guitarist Peter Östlund, has inked a deal with Metal Central Records. The group's already completed debut album is scheduled for release in early 2008.

According to a press release, "THE LAW got great reviews for the demo 'Dudes of Darkness' that was recorded and released in 2006. It also got them a spot in the soundtrack of the notorious 'Get Thrashed' documentary featuring bands such as EXODUS, OVERKILL, METALLICA and SLAYER. The songs are heavily influenced by the Bay Area thrash metal scene, but the band manages to still do their own thing by incorporating hardrocking grooves and focusing on melodic vocal arrangements."

THE LAW lineup:

Tobias Jansson (TREASURE ISLAND, SUGARGLIDER) - Vocals
Björn Larsson (KARENSDAG) – Guitar
Peter Östlund (VOMITORY) - Guitar
Jimmie "Ninja" Frödin – Bass
Johan Rudberg (KARENSDAG) - Drums
