THE PANIC CHANNEL To Play Nashville, Houston This Weekend
October 5, 2006THE PANIC CHANNEL — the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs — will perform at OCC in America 2006 Tour stop at Riverfront Park in Nashville, TN on Friday, October 6. Navarro and Co. will be joining the Teutuls and the rest of the Orange County Choppers crew from Discovery Channel's "American Chopper". They will hit the stage at 9:30 p.m.
As previously reported, THE PANIC CHANNEL is one of the confirmed bands for BuzzFest XVIII, set to take place Sunday, October 8 at the Woodlands Pavilion in Houston, Texas. Also scheduled to appear are EVERCLEAR, HURT, CROSSFADE, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, BREAKING BENJAMIN, STONE SOUR, ALICE IN CHAINS, BOYS LIKE GIRLS, EIGHTEEN VISIONS, OK GO, THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS, LOSTPROPHETS and EVANS BLUE. THE PANIC CHANNEL will appear on the second stage at 6:00 p.m.
THE PANIC CHANNEL's debut album, "(ONe)", sold more than 8,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 108 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham, whose resume includes such multi-platinum artists as KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT and VELVET REVOLVER, among others. Mixing duties were handled by Ryan Williams, who has previously worked with veteran producer Brendan O'Brien.
