TIDES OF VIRTUE Signs With TRANSCEND RECORDS

December 11, 2009

Transcend Records has announced the signing of Essex, United Kingdom metallers TIDES OF VIRTUE. The band's debut album, "Malevolence", is scheduled for release in May 2010.

Since its inception in June 2008, TIDES OF VIRTUE has worked relentlessly hard to demonstrate total dedication and passion for its music, live shows and supporters. In its first year as a band, TIDES OF VIRTUE played over 75 shows in the U.K. and Europe, visited Studio 6 twice and played the reputed Metalfest 3 and Camden Curse festivals.

According to a press release, TIDES OF VIRTUE "deliver a tight and yet ferociously devastating live show with a combination of fast-paced aggressive riffs, technically savage drumming, crushing breakdowns, twin-guitar harmonies, intricate solos and hellish vocals. TIDES OF VIRTUE will leave new and old audiences permanently scarred by what that have witnessed."

Commented Transcend Records managing director Rob Ferguson: "Aside from being an awesome band, some of the qualities I look for in any artist are enthusiasm, passion and dedication. These boys have this by the bucketload.

"I have no doubt it will be a pleasure to work with TIDES and look forward to helping them achieve their goals whilst having a great time along the way."

TIDES OF VIRTUE is:

Louis Thurgood (Vocals)
James Otero (Guitar)
Paul Lawford (Guitar)
Oliver Reece (Bass)
Elliot Philpot (Drums)
