TODAY IS THE DAY Frontman To Present SuperNova Records Showcase in NYC

To celebrate the launch of his new label, SuperNova Records, TODAY IS THE DAY frontman Steve Austin presents the first official SuperNova Records showcase, Monday, Oct 30, at Lit Lounge in New York City.

The SuperNova Records showcase is part of the "Precious Metal" series, a weekly metal event recently named "Best Metal Party" in The Village Voice's 2006 Best Of NYC issue.

The SuperNova Records Showcase features an international selection of bands from the Supernova Records roster. Scheduled to perform are:

TAIPAN, featuring TODAY IS THE DAY frontman and SuperNova Records label boss Steve Austin, with TODAY IS THE DAY bassist Chris Debari; DEFCON 4, a hardcore band from Boston featuring an ex-member of LAST RIGHTS; CHRISTINE, a female-fronted rock band from Nashville; THE ORANGE MAN THEORY, a noise-core band from Rome, Italy; and DIESEL THEORY, a metal band from New Jersey.

The first batch of SuperNova Records releases, including "Axis Of Eden", the eighth studio album by TODAY IS THE DAY, will be released in 2007.
