TOOL To Play Norway's QUART Festival This Summer?

January 10, 2006

According to a posting on the TOOL site Toolshed.down.net, a Norwegian national TV channel, TV2, reported the other day that TOOL will play Norway's Quart festival this summer. Seeing as the festival's official web site is not currently listing TOOL as performing at this year's event (set to take place July 4-8),this report is being treated as a rumor until further notice.

Launch Radio Networks reported last month that TOOL have entered the mixing stage on their new album, according to sources close to the band, and are looking at an April or May release for the disc, their first since 2001's "Lateralus".

As previously reported, TOOL singer Maynard James Keenan is preparing to release the first wines from his own personal vineyard. Three 2004 red wine blends will debut in the spring of 2006, with more information available at caduceus.org.
