TRIVIUM To Guest On Orlando's WJJR

April 15, 2010

Matt Heafy (guitar, vocals) and Corey Beaulieu (guitar) of Florida metallers TRIVIUM will take over "Hard On Saturday Nights" and play some of their favorite songs this Saturday night, April 17 at midnight on the Orlando, Florida radio station WJRR.

You can listen to the program live via the Internet at this location.

Regearding TRIVIUM's plans for the band's next album, which looks set to be recorded in Orlando, Heafy recently told STV's John Kilbride, "Things are great and it's definitely preparing us for our next record which is what we have been prepping for and we have been writing for it.

"It's going to be and has to be the best record we have ever done. Every record we say that but this is going to be definitive, this is going to be the one."

On the addition of new drummer Nick Augusto, Matt said, "He is the best drummer we have ever played with, and with all three of us saying that fans are realizing that as well."

Speaking about the two tracks that were recently released — "Shattering the Skies Above" and a cover of SEPULTURA's "Slave new World" — and whether these gave any indication to the sound of the forthcoming album, Matt said: "The SEPULTURA cover not at all, but the 'Shattering' song definitely gives an indication of where we are going, but that is just a start, and everything from there. We have two and a half songs fully ready that completely top that song; they're amazing."
