TWISTED SISTER's DEE SNIDER Interviewed On 'Quinn's AM Army' (Audio)

December 13, 2013

TWISTED SISTER singer Dee Snider stopped by "Quinn's AM Army" this morning to talk about his new production, "Dee Snider's Rock And Roll Christmas", the release of his reinterpretation of a holiday classic, "Silent Night", with television personality Giuliana Rancic, and more details of the drama around working with American actor, fitness trainer/consultant and retired professional bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno.

"Dee Snider's Rock And Roll Christmas Tale" is the story of a stuggling heavy metal band, DÄISY CÜTTER, who "sells their souls to the devil and has a magical Christmas instead." Snider says: "It's a heartwarming Christmas story with an exorcism in it!"

The show opens next year Chicago in with goals of making it Broadway. Included is reinterpretation of classic "Silent Night" with Giuliana Rancic, who makes her musical debut. The track can be found on iTunes.

A majority portion of the proceeds from sales will support women with breast and ovarian cancer.

The conversation turned to helping others and "trying to get to heaven one day," as Dee shared his theories of why so many rock and roll and metal artists from the '80s are helping others today, and his work to raise funds for charity on "The Celebrity Apprentice".

The audio interview was featured this morning on "Quinn's AM Army" and can be heard in its entirety using the SoundCloud widget below.

Shawn Quinn hosts the "AM Army" morning show weekdays from 5:30 to 10:00 on mainstream rock station 94.3 WQCM.
