November 8, 2007

"Metallicity Radio Hour" recently conducted an interview with UNEARTH vocalist Trevor Phipps. The chat took place last month, about halfway through the band's headlining North American tour. Phipps discusses UNEARTH's latest album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", and mentions the inspiration behind the single "Giles".

Check out the chat in audio format at YouTube in two parts: Part#1, Part#2.

"Metallicity Radio Hour" serves the Niagara region of Southern Ontario, dishing out metal every Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on 103.7 FM. Check it out at www.myspace.com/MetallicityFM.

As previously reported, ABORT TV's E.S. Day conducted an interview with UNEARTH's Trevor Phipps (and Ken Susi (guitar) on their recent stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The boys chat about Trevor's recent marriage, playing with PEARL JAM and Trevor's Ironclad Recordings label. A performance of "Sanctity of Brothers" can be seen at the end of the interview. Watch the 10-minute clip below.

UNEARTH recently released the video for the song "This Glorious Nightmare". The track comes off the group's new album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", which was released in August 2006 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at a Seattle studio with producer Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES). A limited-edition version of "III: In the Eyes of Fire" included a bonus DVD containing the "making of" footage for the album and a live video filmed on the Sounds of The Underground tour.

UNEARTH filmed its October 9 concert at the Glass House in Pomona, California for an upcoming DVD. The band's tour with DARKEST HOUR, AUGUST BURNS RED and SUICIDE SILENCE marked UNEARTH's first U.S. trek since their run of dates with DIMMU BORGIR back in April/May 2007.
