University Of Rochester's Brass Choir To Perform Music By MEGADETH, TWISTED SISTER, DEEP PURPLE
October 21, 2010The University of Rochester's Brass Choir will perform the second annual "Spooktacular" concert on Friday, October 29 at 8:00 p.m. on the University of Rochester's River Campus. This year's theme is Metalworks — a concert of classic hard rock and heavy metal songs re-purposed for trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums, and tubas. The concert will include the devilish sounds of MEGADETH, TWISTED SISTER, DEEP PURPLE and LED ZEPPELIN. This concert is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
Attendees are invited to come in costume, as many of the musicians will be dressed for Halloween.

About the brass choir: The University of Rochester's Brass Choir is a 45-member ensemble made up of undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni representing almost every division of the University of Rochester, including the Hajim School of Engineering and the Eastman School of Music. The ensemble is dedicated to crafting music performances that are a bit out of the ordinary.
