VANITY INK Signs With SWEDMETAL RECORDS

July 28, 2009

Helsinki, Finland-based, female-fronted rock and rollers VANITY INK have inked a deal with the Swedish record label Swedmetal Records. The band's new album, "More Senseless Random Behaviour", will be released in October.

VANITY INK hails from Helsinki, Finland, and has thus far released two EPs (2004's "...roadkills!" 2004 and 2005's "Vanity is a Full-time Job") and one full-length album (2007's "On Your Skin").

Swedmetal Records is home to some of the best acts in sleaze/glam/rock 'n' roll, including PRETTY WILD, GLORIOUS BANKROBBERS, CHERRY LIPS, INNOCENT ROSIE, STEEVI JAIMZ, SHAMELESS and CRAZY LIXX (the former band of current HARDCORE SUPERSTAR guitarist Vic Zino).

Commented VANITY INK singer Annabella: "This is a boost for us, signing with a such good label. We really like their earlier releases, and now we are one of them. It's a fantastic feeling, and we're ready to bring both the label and us to a new level."

According to a press release, the members of VANITY INK "were born and raised with rock 'n' roll records and they sold their souls already at their early ages. Many years in this business guarantee the professionalism but their wicked sense of humor and togetherness keeps them yahoo enough."
