WITHIN TEMPTATION Explain Abbreviated HURRICANE FESTIVAL Performance

June 27, 2006

WITHIN TEMPTATION's official web site has been updated with the following message:

'Unfortunately, our show at the Hurricane Festival last night had to be cancelled after 30 minutes, because of the bad weather coming in. We'd like to thank all of you who were there in the pouring rain, and we know that you probably didn't like it that we had to stop. However, the stage manager of the festival made the decision to end our show early, because of not only our own safety, but also yours. Thunder can be very dangerous when standing close to a big stage with the numerous lights and the sound equipment. Our next song would have been 'Mother Earth', which would have fitted perfectly to the weather. Hopefully we'll see you all at the M'era Luna Festival, we'll put on a great show there!"

WITHIN TEMPTATION's latest album, "The Silent Force", was certified platinum in the band's native Holland for sales in excess of 80,000 copies. A new WITHIN TEMPTATION studio CD is tentatively planned for late 2006.
