WITHIN Y To Film New Video

June 25, 2008

Swedish melodic death metal band WITHIN Y has issued the following update:

"We will be filming our gig at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg next Wednesday, July 2nd. If everything turns out well and you all look good on camera, we will use some of the material for our next video! So, don't be shy, don't sit at home, don't sit in the park getting drunk although it's summertime. Come and mosh your brains out with us next week! Hope to see you all there! Age 18."

"The Cult", the third album from WITHIN Y, recently entered the Swedish national chart at position No. 24. The CD artwork was created by Niklas Sundin of DARK TRANQUILLITY and Cabin Fever Media.

"21", the mosts recent video from WITHIN Y, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Dino Medanhodzic (guitar player in CARNAL FORGE and SOULBREACH) from Arboga, Sweden.

WITHIN Y in April 2007 recruited Erik Hagstrm as the replacement for Thim Blom (ex-GARDENIAN).

Blom left the group in December 2006, claiming that "pain in [his wrists]" made it impossible for him to "perform at the top of [his] abillity and to do what it takes to play at this level."

WITHIN Y's sophomore album, "Portraying Dead Dreams", was released in Sweden in the spring of 2006 via Gain.
