AUDIOSLAVE: 'Out Of Exile' Certified Platinum

AUDIOSLAVE's sophomore album, "Out of Exile" (Interscope/Epic),has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA),signifying shipments of more than 1,000,000 units.

"Out of Exile" was produced by Rick Rubin, who also helmed double-platinum self-titled debut.

AUDIOSLAVE recently announced plans to make a quick return to the studio to record some of the material the band have been working on since the release of "Out of Exile". The band are expected to head back out on the road this fall.
