CROSSING RUBICON Feat. Ex-ALL THAT REMAINS Bassist JEANNE SAGAN: 'Seeing Red' Video
June 27, 2019CROSSING RUBICON, which features former ALL THAT REMAINS bassist Jeanne Sagan, will release its new album, "Seeing Red", on July 19. The official music video for the disc's title track can be seen below. The clip was filmed in partnership with the forthcoming documentary about famed ECW wrestling star Justin Credible that will also feature the track.
Says lead vocalist Scotty Anarchy (a.k.a. Scott Wawrzyniak): "Justin Credible and I have been friends for a long time. When RUBICON wrote 'Seeing Red', it was a very personal song dealing with some of my own life situations. Credible and I got reacquainted after a brief falling out when he was going through the biggest challenge of his life, and this song went from being my story to his.
"Music and wrestling are both an art form that tells a story that everyone in the audience can relate to, and wrestling is the perfect metaphor for this song. Two friends against the world with everything to gain, and everything to lose, having to prove something to themselves and then fuck up the naysayers and critics."
CROSSING RUBICON began as a two-man project involving Anarchy and Pete Ahern (RED CHINA BLUE). After numerous member changes, the band had continued success by playing shows with the likes of IN THIS MOMENT, NONPOINT, POP EVIL, REV THEORY, MÖTLEY CRÜE, Bret Michaels and TANTRIC.
CROSSING RUBICON's music is often described as a throwback to metal of the '80s and early '90s — think of bands such as QUEENSRŸCHE, ALICE IN CHAINS, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN — while having a modern rock sound.
