IRON MAIDEN: Helsinki Show Cancelled!
November 8, 2003IRON MAIDEN have cancelled Monday night's (Nov. 10) show in Helsinki, Finland in order to allow singer Bruce Dickinson more time to recover from a case of the flu and severe laryngitis.
The Helsinki gig marks the third cancellation in a row for MAIDEN, who were forced to call off their concerts in Rotterdam (Holland) and Wroclaw (Poland) earlier in the week.
Says IRON MAIDEN's webmaster, "Bruce saw doctors and specialists [Saturday] morning and he has been advised he is certainly not well enough to play in Helsinki on Monday. He will see them again on Monday and we hope by then he will be given the all-clear for the forthcoming shows which are of course all sold out.
"We are looking at the options to reschedule these concerts in Wroclaw and Helsinki as soon as possible. Please bear with us and we will keep you updated on [MAIDEN's official web] site."
