METALLICA Nominated For 'Best Live Act' At Ireland's METEOR MUSIC AWARDS

METALLICA are among the nominees for "Best Live Performance Visiting Act" at the 2005 Meteor Ireland Music Awards, it was announced earlier today. Also up for the award are FRANZ FERDINAND, KILLERS, MADONNA, PIXIES and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.

In total 16 awards will be presented at the awards ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Ed Byrne at The Point Theatre in Dublin on Thursday, February 24.
