AC/DC Concert Causes Hotel Crunch

January 7, 2009

Dave Roepke of In-Forum.com reports that AC/DC's January 17, 2009 concert in Fargo, North Dakota has prompted a run on hotel space.

"The supply is slender," said Cole Carley, president of the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Carley said the CVB tracks hotel-room availability for the busiest weekends in the metro area.

Thanks to the concert, plus a pair of conventions and some smaller events, hotel beds were snapped up early.
