ANTHRAX Drummer To Enter Studio With HEAVY THE FALL

November 13, 2009

ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante will enter Studio Chicago on December 2, 2009 to produce local favorite HEAVY THE FALL's debut album. In addition to taking the helm of producer, Benante will also lay down the drum tracks on all 13 songs.

HEAVY THE FALL, formed in early 2007 by Mike Ronning (bass),Erik Kikke (guitar) and Dan Graunke (vocals),exploded on Chicago's music scene immediately after the band's inception by booking numerous shows over the following two years at Chicago's most popular venues and thus gaining loyal fans, radio airplay and ultimately grabbing Benante's full attention.

Benante says, "My involvement with HEAVY THE FALL started from a friendship that grew into a mutual love of music. I produced their demo last year with Asim Ali, who also engineered the ANTHRAX record....They are one of my favorite bands, the songs are memorable, and at the end of the day, that's what it's all about...a good song."

HEAVY THE FALL's first full-length album is set to be released in early 2010, followed by a national tour.

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Kill Me Now
