October 3, 2008

Wrath Sathariel Diabolus (bass, backing vocals) of the Texas black metal trio AVERSE SEFIRA will join host Chuck Loesch on 101X (101.5 FM in Austin) for this week's edition of "No Control" tonight (Friday, October 3) from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. According to a press release, "They will talk about topics regarding black metal that will likely upset most of the show's audience."

To listen in, visit the "No Control"web site and click "101X Live Radio Stream" at the top left-hand side of the page.

AVERSE SEFIRA is continuing to promote its latest album, "Advent Parallax". Released earlier this year, the CD was produced by Tore Stjerna (WATAIN, IN BATTLE) and features original artwork from celebrated artist Jos A. Smith (BATHORY). On release, the band toured the U.S. with ROTTING CHRIST and friends IMMOLATION; their second tour of the country since signing with Candlelight Records.

Sanguine Mapsama (guitar, vocals) and Wrath Sathariel Diabolus (bass, backing vocals) of AVERSE SEFIRA were interviewed for an upcoming film documenting politics, religion, art and sex in America. Filmmakers Shane and Amy Bugbee ("Club Satan") are on a year-long road trip taking in the state of the nation during the election year.

Watch some of their chat with AVERSE SEFIRA below. More clips are available at the filmmakers' web site.
