BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION To Appear On 'Rockline'

March 10, 2003

MÖTLEY CRÜE/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message to the "Rock'n'Roll Diary" section of CRÜE's official web site:

"On April 9th, I'll be on Rockline with some of the BRIDES. We're gonna spin a couple of our songs, so record the fuckers. I know the BRIDES site is close to being ready to go live and we will also post a couple of other tracks there too. We've gotten a lot of positive feedback on 'Shut The Fuck Up'... All I can say is.... more of that to come...

"We're back in rehearsal next week and were considering recording five more tracks... I didn't realize it, but [BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION guitarist] Tracii [Guns] told me we've written over 35 songs.... we just keep shaving off the ones that don't rise to the top of the list. I can say were finding our sound... We started off writing more hit-sounding songs, which I like, but were learning to unlearn and regress into what I believe is what we should sound like on our first record. Our first deal is signed and now we are concentrating on other business decisions.

"Really nothing new.... I know KABC in L.A. is doing a piece on us next week and tons of phoners, but we are really trying to keep the outside stuff to a minimum and focus only on our music..."
