BURY YOUR DEAD: We Did Not Pelt IRON MAIDEN With Eggs

August 22, 2005

Boston metalcore outfit BURY YOUR DEAD have issued a statement via their official web site refuting reports that they actively participated in pelting IRON MAIDEN with eggs during the British band's co-headlining appearance at this past weekend's Ozzfest in Devore, California. The statement reads as follows:

"Despite rumors flying, BURY YOUR DEAD was not involved with the unfortunate events that took place during IRON MAIDEN's set at Ozzfest this past Saturday at the Glen Helen Hyundai Pavillion. Guitarist Rich Casey said, 'We have the utmost respect for IRON MAIDEN and Ozzfest and BURY YOUR DEAD did not partake in Saturday's ill-fated events.'"
