DIMMU BORGIR: More GODS OF METAL Footage Available

Fan-filmed video footage of Norwegian black metallers DIMMU BORGIR performing the song "Mourning Palace" on June 3, 2007 at the Gods of Metal festival in Milan, Italy has been posted on YouTube.

DIMMU BORGIR recruited Tony Laureano (NILE, ANGELCORPSE) to sit behind the kit for their two shows in June following the announcement that the band's regular drummer drummer Jan Axel von Blomberg (a.k.a. Hellhammer) had broken his arm.

Laureano previously played with DIMMU BORGIR as a session drummer at Ozzfest 2004 after the group's then-skinsman, Danish drummer Reno Kiilerich (PANZERCHRIST, EXMORTEM, VILE),was unable to obtain a U.S. work visa in time to join the band on the road.

DIMMU BORGIR's latest album, "In Sorte Diaboli", has sold around 40,000 copies in the United States since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album premiered with 14,000 units — more than double the 6,400 opening-week number achieved by its predecessor, "Death Cult Armageddon", which came out in September 2003 and landed at position No. 169 on The Billboard 200 chart.
