Ex-KITTIE Bassist TALENA ATFIELD To Serve As 'America's Hot Musician' Judge

Former KITTIE bassist Talena Atfield will serve as a judge on "America's Hot Musician" on the Oxygen network beginning July 2007.

Atfield will judge alongside National Symphony Orchestra violinist Marissa Regni and Duke Ellington Orchestra alum and trombonist Gregory Charles Royal.

"We believe Talena is an excellent addition to our judging panel because she is a young fresh talent in a style distinct from the other judges", says Susan Veres, Executive Producer of the show.

According to a press release, "America's Hot Musician" is similar to "American Idol" but features instrumental musicians and was created to promote interest in instrumental music within the MTV/hip hop generation.
