FIFTH ANGEL Bassist Seeking Singer, Guitarist For Solo Project

Bassist John Macko of cult Seattle metal band FIFTH ANGEL has issued the following update:

"I am currently seeking a singer and guitar player with strong writing skills for my solo project REDHEAD DEVIL. REDHEAD DEVIL is NOT classic '80s metal, but a blend of modern-intense melodic metal... OK, maybe there is still a touch of some '80s influence, but that can't be helped! The reunited FIFTH ANGEL — featuring Ted Pilot, Ed Archer, John Macko and Kendall Bechtel — will perform at next year's Keep It True XIII festival, set to take place April 23-24, 2010 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.

FIFTH ANGEL announced in March that it was ending its 20-year hiatus by commencing work on material for a new studio album.

FIFTH ANGEL, formed in the mid-1980s, released two studio records, "Fifth Angel" (1986) and "Time Will Tell" (1989) to critical acclaim, building a rabid underground fan following. The band's song "Midnight Love" was the featured theme track of radio personality Howard Stern's TV show in the early 1990s.
