March 28, 2008

ANGRY CHAIR, the Chicago, Illinois-based ALICE IN CHAINS tribute band featuring FLOTSAM AND JETSAM bassist Jason B. Ward, has scheduled the following dates:

Mar. 29 - The End Zone - Aurora, IL
Apr. 05 - Pop's - Sauget, IL
May 02 - O'Malleys - Alsip, Illinois
Jun. 28 - The Carnival for the Chicago's Boys and Girls Club - Chicago, IL

According to the group's official bio, "ANGRY CHAIR have performed over 100 shows. ANGRY CHAIR is one of the most extraordinary acts out there today. These guys put an emphasis on the music that is unparalleled by many bands. In a time when it seems as if music as it once was is now forgotten, they bring you a blast from the past with an enthusiastic and energetic performance that brings you right back into the early '90s when grunge was in its glory days. These guys are more than an emulation of the ALICE IN CHAINS shows of yesterday. They perform the music as if it were their own and fans leave the shows feeling as if the have just witnessed something magical. Playing to packed venues from one end of the country to the other hasn't slowed these guys down a bit. Every performance is as highly energetic and entertaining as the night before. They are a pleasure to work with and about as professional as they come."

ANGRY CHAIR is:

Dave McCormick: Lead Vocals, Guitar
Rick Cuevas: Drums, Vocals
Willie Max: Lead Guitar/Vocals
Jason B. Ward: Bass
